Health and Environmental Hygiene Guideline
It is necessary to strengthen the work of the Addis Ababa City Administration Food, Drug, and Healthcare Administration and Control Authority to ensure the quality and control of food and health-related products and institutions in Addis Ababa City Administration to protect the health of the community;
Whereas illegal production, unsafe and unregulated production, and service delivery in the city administration are a serious issue for community health;
Whereas it is necessary to issue a directive to implement the Food and Drug Administration Proclamation No. 1112/2011 issued at the federal level and the Addis Ababa City Administration Food, Drug, and Healthcare Administration and Control Regulation No. 60/2006 in detail;
The Authority has issued this directive under Article 44 of the Addis Ababa City Administration Executive Bodies Re-establishment Proclamation No. 64/2012 and Article 97 of the Addis Ababa City Administration Food, Drug and Healthcare Administration and Control Regulation No. 60/2006.
