Leaders and professionals from the Addis Ababa Mega Projects Construction Office visited the Addis Ababa International Convention Center.
In their visit to the Addis Ababa International Convention Center’s construction project, the CEO of the Addis Ababa Mega Projects Construction Office, Mr. Zelake Wakene (Eng.), remarked that it was a proud moment to witness the project’s progress. He noted that this project is a significant milestone and said, "We are proud to see the fruit of our work today."
The CEO also emphasized that the Addis Ababa International Convention Center is not only an opportunity to showcase our capabilities on the global stage but also a major project that reflects our city’s development goals.
During the visit, the group also discussed Ethiopia's progress in digital economy, agriculture, manufacturing, tourism, artificial intelligence, and other various sectors, highlighting how these sectors are contributing to the country's growing influence.
The Addis Ababa International Convention Center has been a key project for the city, overseen by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, Mayor Mrs. Adanech Abebe, and other senior leaders and institutions engaged in its development.
