Training on Basic Concepts of Business Associations and Contract Law | March 17th of 2025.
The Legal Services Team of the Addis Ababa Mega Projects Construction Office organized a training session focusing on the basic concepts of business associations and contract law. The training was specifically designed for leaders and professionals in urban development and was held today.
In his opening remarks, the Chief Executive Officer of the Addis Ababa Mega Projects Construction Office, Mr. Kasahun Alemu, emphasized the importance of this training in enhancing the effectiveness of their work. He stated that a deeper understanding of business associations and contract law would improve their efficiency and ensure the successful implementation of projects.
The training, delivered by legal experts from the Addis Ababa City Administration’s Justice Bureau, covered fundamental concepts in business associations and contract law. Documents related to these topics were prepared and distributed to participants for further reference.
Participants expressed that the training was extremely beneficial, as it was directly applicable to their daily tasks. They mentioned that it provided them with valuable insights into legal processes and how these principles can be applied to their projects.
During the closing session, the Chief Executive Officer of the Project Office, Mr. Zelake Wakene, emphasized that understanding the core legal processes, aligned with the organization’s work culture, would greatly improve project execution. He noted that this knowledge would contribute to the effective and successful implementation of projects.
