December 2, 2024 | Addis Ababa

On Monday, December 2, 2024, a Monday Knowledge Sharing Session was delivered by Ato Abel Yohannes, ICT Team Leader. This marked the first session presented by staff members following the General Manager’s kickoff motivational program.

Under the theme "Global Insights and Local Habits – Building Better Work Culture," Ato Abel shared valuable reflections drawn from his international academic experience, particularly focusing on workplace habits observed during his studies in China. He highlighted how structured discipline, respect for time, accountability, and team synergy are foundational principles in high-performing work environments.

Ato Abel contrasted these practices with common local workplace habits, gently encouraging his colleagues to adopt a culture of consistency, mutual respect, and continuous self-improvement. He emphasized that meaningful change begins at the individual level and that even simple habit shifts—like arriving on time or setting daily goals—can significantly impact overall organizational success.

In closing, he called on team members to embody professionalism in every task, reminding them that global standards are within reach when individuals commit to personal excellence and collective progress.
